In 1981, Olena Svietkina graduated the Dnepropetrovsk State University with a major in Chemistry and received the qualification of chemist and teacher. In 1985, she defended her PhD thesis within the programme 02.00.15 – Chemical kinetics and catalysis. In 2015, she defended her doctoral thesis. Since 2015, she has being headed of the Chemistry Department. On the position of Professor, Svietkina O.Yu. delivers lectures on disciplines: "General Chemistry", "Physical Chemistry", "Technical analysis of mineral raw materials" and others, conducts practical and laboratory classes, tests and exams, teachings students to participate in the Ukrainian Olympiads in Chemistry and Student Scientific Conferences. The number of publications is 91 printed papers.
Alina Oleksandrivna Ovcharenko
(Candidate of Technical Sciences) Alina Oleksandrivna Ovcharenko graduated from the Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology in 2012, received a Master's degree with distinction in the specialty "Chemical technologies of inorganic substances" and qualified as a researcher, university teacher, technological engineer. In 2017, she defended her PhD thesis in the specialty 02.00.01 "Inorganic Chemistry". Since 2021, she has been an associate professor at the Department of Chemistry. · Winner of the regional competition of projects "Young Scientists – Dnipropetrovsk region" in 2018.
· Participated at the round table (hybrid) “Digitalization in the academia” within the project “EMDIAC: embracing digitalization in the academia: international collaboration for capacity building and innovation”. June, 7 2022, certificate № 2022-06-39 LiU. · Completed a scientific internship as part of the International Winter School "Introduction to Doctoral School of Exact Sciences" in the period March 26-April 1, 2023 at Adam Mickiewicz University (Poland); certificate of internship results № UAM-NAWA-ES-002. · Took part in Erasmus + KA107 International Credit Mobility Project (Cankiri Karatekin University, Turkey, 22-26 May 2023. Gave online and offline lectures (10 teaching hours). · Participated in the XVIII International Summer School "Molecular biology, biotechnology and biomedicine" in the period July 03 - 14, 2023; certificate of internship results № 02071091, 1,3 ECTS credits. Publications: 1 patent, 10 articles in scientific journals (2 of them in English, 4 in journals included in Scopus), 15 doctoral theses, 1 pedagogical and methodological work.

Associate Professor, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, specialty 03.00.16. She graduated the Dnipropetrovsk State Chemical and Technology University in 1971, Faculty of Macromolecular Compounds, within the programme Chemist-Technologist. Then, during the 27 years, she worked as a researcher at the fundamental scientific laboratory of the Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology in the area of "Processing Plant Polymers". Has been worked as a lecturer at the Department of Biotechnology of University, since 2001. Defended her PhD thesis for a Candidate of Agricultural Sciences degree in specialty 03.00.16. - Ecology. Was awarded the scientific degree Associate Professor of the Department of Biotechnology. Has been working at the Department of Chemistry at the Dnipro University of Technology since 2009. Scientific researches concern ecologization of technological processes by biochemical and chemical methods of rehabilitation of anthropogenically disturbed natural and artificial systems, minimization of anthropogenic burden on environmental components. She is author of more than 200 scientific publications, co-author of 4 monographs, 3 learning guides, educational and methodological literatures, two declarative patents of Ukraine. Main directions of scientific activity are: - optimization of methods of reducing of anthropogenic burden on the environment through the integrated use of surfactants; - treatment of industrial wastewater by chemical and biochemical methods; - formation of a package approach for chemical- and bio- technologies application in industrial production; – development of resource saving measures by chemical and biochemical methods in the mining industry.

He graduated the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine within the programme Chemical Technology of Fuel and Carbonaceous Materials in 2004 and defended PhD thesis within the PhD programme 05.17.07 "Chemical technology of fuel and lubricants materials” in 2012. He has been working at the Department of Chemistry since 2017. He delivers lectures and conducts practical, and laboratory classes in the courses "General Chemical Technology", "Chemistry", "Physical and Colloidal Chemistry". He is author of more than 60 scientific publications, two monographs, including one monograph published Ottawa, Canada, 6 chapters of collective monographs, 4 patents of Ukraine, 18 educational and methodical literature, participant in international conferences. Main directions of scientific activity are: - study of the properties of coal, oil and gas, and other carbon materials; - use of biomass to produce fuels and reducing agents; - production and analysis of carbon nanomaterials.

She graduated the Dnipropetrovsk State Chemical and Technology University within the programme “Technology of Recycling of Secondary Materials of Industry” in 1981. She delivers lectures and conducts practical and laboratory classes in the courses "Chemistry", “Analytical Chemistry” and "Technical analysis of mineral raw materials". She has 33 scientific papers and methodical guidelines, including 4 inventor's certificates and 3 Ukrainian patents. She is a co-author of the Handbook “Chemistry” (Part I and Part II) published at the University.
